In terms of my course, I have had a lot of highlights! I have thoroughly enjoyed this course, even more than I expected. Of course there have been ups and downs and moments that I have found challenging, but you’ve always got your friends and lecturers there to help and support you along the way. I have met so many of my closest friends on this course which I am extremely grateful for and is definitely on of my highlights from this. In terms of the course content, I loved the fragrance brief and any time where we got the opportunity to do photography, as this has always been a passion for me. I found it so interesting watching the final 5 winning presentations for the fragrance brief as it was lovely listening to others ideas and learning about what I can do to be even better.

And of course, finally, this post wouldn’t be about my highlights of the year if I didn’t mention the trip to New York that we went on with our course. I never ever thought that I would get the opportunity to go to New York and when I found out that I had the opportunity to with this course I was so excited! And of course, it fully lived up to its expectations! I got to spend a week with some of my best friends exploring many famous places around New York , including the Rockefeller tower. This was one of my favourite moments as the view was just breathtaking. I could see the whole of NYC just from one building and it was incredible!
I also thoroughly enjoyed the colour factory as this was a time for me to get creative with my friends and take lots of photos. The colour factory was full of different colourful rooms where you had a different activity to do in each one, and at the end there was a giant ball pit which was a lot of fun!
I also loved the shopping part of the trip, as anyone who knows me knows that I have an addiction to buying clothes and any chance I get I will be there! It was very interesting looking down the high end shops on fifth Avenue, especially the flagship stores such as Nike and Victoria’s Secret as it was interesting to see what innovative ideas they had put into their stores in order to persuade people to buy stuff.
I also loves Chelsea Markets as this was more of a traditional place to shop, and they had lots of cute and dainty jewelery which I was very tempted to buy. And they also had a lot of yummy food. Also while we were in Chelsea we walked along the High Line which was a good way to see a better view of the city.

Overall, my first year at uni has easily been one of the best years of my life and I have learnt so many new things, become more confident and independent and grown as a character, and met some of my best friends. There are so many moments that I have loved that it is hard to mention them all, but I hope you enjoyed hearing just a few of my highlights!
