As part of my course, fashion communication and promotion, there is something called the 7Cs which is a list of things beginning with the letter C which are essential parts of the course and things which we need to use. One of these is character development.
From studying this course, I would definitely say that I have developed as a characters, as I have learnt many new skills, met new people, and gained a lot of confidence. My course has forced me to speak to new people who I wouldn’t have normally spoke to and pushed me outside my comfort zone when it comes to doing presentations, and even writing blog posts. I would have never thought to, and never would have created a blog if it wasn’t for this course, however by having the blogs as part of my brief it has taught me that writing blogs is actually a really fun way of saying what is on my mind, and I don’t have to be really good at English to write them!
My course has given me new found confidence, creativity, collaboration skills and a more critical way of thinking which are actual some of the 7Cs themselves, therefore I think that all of the 7Cs actual make up the whole character development one, as all of these traits have built be as a character.
