Fashion Trends 2019

As a keen fashion student, I love to keep up with all of the latest trends of the season.  There are many things this year coming into fashion which I did not expect, but I actually surprisingly really like! Here are some of my favourite fashion trends of this year so far…

Tortoiseshell Jewellery (in particular earrings)

Tortoiseshell earrings and other jewellery has become incredibly popular this year and I love this style as I think it dresses up any look and makes a statement, but also looks very classy.

Animal Print

Animal print is an ongoing trend from 2018, but it is still incredibly popular.  You can’t walk into a shop nowadays without seeing at least some thing animal print.  I love animal print on clothes because I think you can either make it look really subtle, or you can make a proper statement from it.

Cycling Shorts

This trend is something that I never could have imagined becoming fashionable.  But nowadays everywhere you go you see someone wearing a pair of these!  They are very practical and versatile as you can wear them casually, perhaps under an oversized hoodie or t shirt or you could dress them up for a night out or even for a festival!
